I have two statements for this question.
1) It is as you say, and sometimes more, that "This forum...is a discussion using logic, reason and scientific thought to prove or disprove Gods existence." Because sometimes it goes beyond just whether or not he's around somewhere into 'what does that mean, if anything, in the big scheme of things?'
2) If you look at your keyboard, you can tell HOW it was made, what materials, probably the processes used for each, and HOW it works. You can see uses of it, and then theorize WHY it was probably made THAT way. But can you know all there is to know about its maker or WHY that maker chose to do it that way instead of another? Science for humans is the examination of HOW things work. Faith is the closer exam of WHY things exist, including us, and why they/we matter, etc.

In summary, some think God and Science are mutually exclusive; imho, God is an architect and 'things' are his works. Studying them til we know all the secrets can never erase his entity/design/existence, anymore than knowing all there is to know about a keyboard makes its maker non-existent. If we conclude about science (the HOW of things) that they simply 'ARE that way', the question must rightfully be asked, cannot God 'simply BE', too?

imho. :) GwynJ
