Well, your first statement is kind-of a bum argument because for all we know there could be infinite universes and this is one of the many that 'work' as you put it. By saying 'There is a God because all of these chances put together and voilą, we exist!' you are asserting that because it was by 'chance' life appeared on earth, because the chance was so slim, it must have been intentional. But we do exist and there is life on earth so that whole argument won't work. I hope you kinda get what I am saying I've heard it explained before in much more presice and descriptive language; I couldn't find the right words. I think I remember what book I read it in... I'll go look for it a little later.
