'Yet if one believes and has not seen or tested it would be better for them...' true, their own lives would be further enhanced. we should not forget, however, how much stronger a living testimony it is to OTHERS when we compare the strength and power that comes forth through the ones who seemed to have had darker shadows of doubt and come to voice their beliefs; like Paul, who used to kill Christians, and then winds up being one of Jesus' strongest advocates and spokesmen.

A sunny sky is lovely and enjoyed.
A bright sky with some clouds that part enough to let shafts of light through stay on the minds and hearts of people all their lives.

No cloud or shadow or evil in one's life is powerful enough to keep the light from penetrating, if only one will open one's heart enough to let it shine through...
