All different names of different aspects of god. It is only pagan in the sense that it is not your religion.

According to modern anthropology, the Rig Veda where we find what you call pagan ritual goes back 8,000 years based on radar satellite studies of the Sarasvati River. By modern standards this may be considered pagan. But all religions have evolved from their origins. Western religion has long ago put aside its animal sacrifices. But nobody calls them pagan, at least not in the west.

If you must judge someone else's religion, please judge the current form, and not a form that existed long before there was anything that could even be called civilization in the west or middle east.
