: God almost certainly plays dice. There are different probabilities for particles to take different paths, etc. Quantum Mechanics predicts observations very well and almost all scientists accept it. On the atomic level, particles often act as waves, which are governed by probabilities. Things are not determenistic in any way at all.

Our knowledge of reality at the quantum level may be probabilistic and not deterministic, but that does not mean no causes operate at that level. It means only that we have no ability to predict them with certainty.
