Alright. Let me start off by saying that cryogenics is not the same thing as time slowing down, rather the rate something ages slows down. By freezing something, the actions and motions of the object slow down.
I guess an example of time slowing down would be the old paradox. Use your imagination for this one. Aurrup the Seal and Mr. Hippo are in a field. Aurrup has a spaceship he will fly in going near the speed of light. Aurrup gets in the ship and creates a wormhole in spacetime from where he is to where Mr. Hippo is. Aurrup puts his flipper out and Mr. Hippo grabs it. Aurrup takes off in the ship and heads towards the speed of light, still holding onto the Mr. Hippos hand. Aurrup travels for a year in one direction and then heads back, never letting go of Mr. Hippo's hand. When Aurrup returns from his two year trip, the hippo still holding the flipper says, "What took you so long? I've been holding your flipper for ten years!" Aurrup smiles. To him it has only been 2 years.
