In the Lotus Sutra, the last Buddha states that women are next to evil. He describes Buddhalands in which no women exist as a very positive attribute of such places.

Is this an eternal truth. When you say, "Buddhism teaches that Buddhahood is the Ultimate goal for man to attain", do you mean it literally- that there is no place for women in Buddhahood?

How can you ask a modern enlightened person to ascribe to such backward thinking?
