Your discussion reminds me of a book I just read, The AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI. When Yogananda, its author, was in college on page 166 ,"He struck gently on my chest above the heart", said he referring to his Guru. The next two paragraphs describe what happened next. For example, he could see in all directions at once and he could see through walls. In paragraph three he paints the following scene. I'll leave it to you to judge, but it seems very much to me that he is seeing quantum waves in their uncollapsed state, and perhaps describing their act of collapsing as well.
