and this makes his report on Muhammed valid how?

Historical records are available for anyone to research and reach their own conclusions. The writings of Mr. Michael H. Hart are just his opinion after he did his research. We generally give credit to those who are accredited with knowledge of things that they study. No one is saying any one has to believe anything and everything that they read; Just the opposite: Most of us on this forum try to read and study as many references as possible and research the factual historical data and findings and make our own assessments and then choose what we want to believe.
Usually the one with the strongest arguments to support their analysis is given credit for their effort and findings. In this case Mr. Hart was given credit for his findings by many scholars and scientists and readers in general. You will have to read his book and study the life of a person who also was a child of Noah and Abraham.
