I looked for the post and could not find it either, a couple of them were close but I don't think they were the one you refer to.
I cannot remember what point we agreed on, but I think it is that we just do not know if god exists or not?
So much is unknown, there very well could be a god, although I currently do not feel there is.
I do agree with you that eventually humankind will have unthinkable knowledge and the ability to manipulate outcomes in ways people think a supreame being can, if we survive long enough.
I do not think we will ever know everything, for in an infinite universe, there are infinite possibilities.
I guess the fundemental difference betwwen our beliefs is that you feel it is necissary for there to be a creater or planner for all that exists which we experiance and I do not.
The truth is the truth yes, but we have intelligence and mobility, abstract thought which gives us the ability to live our entire individual lives without ever knowing the truth.
Or another way of putting it, if no one knows the truth, we have no choice but to live within what we do know of it, filling in the blanks with semmingly obvious bridges of thinking based upon the patterns of our experiances. So we can live in our own little universe of self-reality.
I do not think we know eachother, it would be neat if we did, its a big small world out here.
I live in southern WV, good as any place I guess.
Do you think we know eachother?
Oh, I hope I do not sound to uppity when I post, it is like an internt personality, I do not talk like I do here in real life, I think?
