yes! basically we are Buddha's and that is what also taught to us by Nicheren.But the question is are we enlightened to the law? Basically, we are still a common mortal who is still deluded by the Great Law of Life. When we say deluded we are still bound by the ignorance of life. Unlike Buddha, he was enlightened to the Law.Buddha is characterize as full of wisdom, compassion, and life-force.So, the difference there is the life-condition. We humans are still aspiring towards it.Buddhahood is the ultimate goals in Life.
