Christianity says the Word came first
Judiaism says the world was created with the Hebrew alphabet. The essence of Hinduism is the Mantra. And here we see the same in Buddhism. So many religions saying that creation and salvation come from sound. Very interesting.

The highest mantra I have found in Hinduism is:

Om Na Ma Ha Ra Ya
as derived from Ha Ra Ye Na Ma Ha
given at the end of the Shri Bagavatam.

It is interesting that the form and even the sound (at least the consonants) of Buddha's chant and Krishna's chant are similar.

So all religions aim in the same direction. Perhaps some get closer to the mark than others.
