Does faith equals dependence?

NIcheren Daishonin said:

" If you wish to free yourself from the suffering of birth and death you endured since time without beginning and attain supreme enlightenment in this Lifetime, you must awaken to the Mystic Truth which has always been within your life"

Nicheren Taught all the workings of the universe embody a single principle or LAW, a Mystic Truth which he expressed in a name phrase(let's jut talk it in our emails) that is hidden and implicit in the Lotus Sutra. He set forth a Buddhist practice of chanting this phrase to place one's life into harmony with the universal principle. In this way, he taught, people can unlock boundless hidden potential and transform the inevitable sufferings of life into sources of growth and fulfillment. That is the wonderful thing about faith in the NICHEREN DAISHONIN'S BUDDHISM is its capacity to transform people's lives from direct suffering into the greatest possible happiness, and turn the most daunting problems into a source of growth and a foundation of Human greatness.
