'The science of making dorks more acceptable in society is called psychology.' Actually, psychology is the study of why dorks are dorks; in my 10 years working in a mental institution, perhaps 10% of practicioners actually cared about dork cures; the others wanted to figure themselves out AND collect a nice check.

'...in this realm of human behaviour, science does not have much influence.' any clue what % of resources are dedicated to finding cures versus, say, contriving things to orbit the earth? i have to wonder. and when i say 'dorks', i mean the ones who aren't obvious dangers assault-wise to themselves or others, but the ones who have no insight or common sense whatsoever, no clue that they do have much to learn. the ones who make our concept of cavemen look REALLLLLYY inventive, ingenious, and industrious, you know? i'm not making any claim here that i'm as smart as i want to or can be, and i hope i'm not a dork, just some people really confound me and make me wonder how they've managed to survive with no visible means of support (which, i suppose, also reinforces my belief that there's GOT to be a God, for them as well as me! haha)
