too true. helps if one can feel at home wherever they are. i lived in a tipi year-round several years. didn't live exactly 'off the land'. certainly is a time warp thing, too. we take running water and electricity for granted, as a whole. but that experience wasn't entirely by choice, tho 'living in a duckblind' has its own treasures. you see plenty no one else does/could. will probably write a book (if only to spare people on this forum from huge postings! haha). science is great, and nature, but heartsickness can taint them both, regardless of cashflow. been there. ;) no matter where ya go, there ya are.
