". . .and darkness was on the face of the deep: I seem to remimber reading something in current science that mentions all was darness at first in the universe. Maybe it's a reach but one could find correlations in the Bible if one takes the time to study science and the scriptures. This includes the Judeo Christian bible. It is further more intresting if one uses strong's concordance or other like Vine's and such to look up the hebrew, caldee and greek meanings. Such as pnuma for breath. What we do with the creation might be more important altho history could be educational.
