Most of the expected prophecies in the OT did not occur. Only after Jesus's death did they look back and try to find the prophecies and how they were right and not wrong. So the original prophecies were made to the second coming while some new stuff was found to make the first coming prophecies. Also, the gospels, as they were written kept changing their view on when Jesus was the son of god. The first book stated when he return to the final book which stated that before he was born. The words kept changing early on. The New Testament is riddled in doubt and myths for the main reason that, not a single word in the new testament was written by a person that had seen Jesus.
