Regarding what u had said, that is true to all of us. Many are still ignorance about the Law of life what Buddhism calls "Fundamental Darkness" in Life.The purpose of practicing Buddhism is to achieve happiness in this life time along with the establishment of a peaceful and prosperous society based on the absolute dignity of Human Life.Shakyamuni taught that people regardless of reace, creed,sex, color background or social status have the seed of "Buddhaood",or potential for happiness, within their lives. In writing of Nicheren, once a deluded one is a common mortal, once enlightened one is a BUDDHA.THere is no difference between a Buddha or a common mortal but only a Buddha is enlightened to the law while a common mortal is deluded.
Nicheren said: " If u wish to free yourself from the suffering of birth and death you endured since time without beginning and attain supreme emlightenment in this lifetime, you must awaken to the MYSTIC TRUTH which has always been within your life"
Nicheren taught all the workings of the universe embody a single principle or Law, a " mystic truth", which he expressed as in this name, the Mystic law. He seth forth forth a Buddhist practice chanting the name( a phrase)of Mystic LAw to place one's life into harmony with that universal principle. In this way, he taught people ca unlock boundless hidden potential and transform the inevitable suffering of Life into source of Growth and Fulfillment.
