Answer: First of all it's better you read it all so that u may uderstand well about what the word "BUDDHA" all means as Shakyamuni was called by his desciple and NOT by arrogantly by Him. BUDDHA is a sanskrit language which means the "Enlightened ONE" which i think how lowly you define it. "Enlightenment" is a fully awakened state of vast wisdom through which reality in all its complexity can be fully understood and enjoyed. There are a lot of numerous diverse teachings does Shakyamuni have which is a proof of the reality he had percieved about Life or even to the extent about the laws of life that governs all phenomena in the universe. The most of his Highest definitive teaching is embodied in the LOTUS SUTRA, which teaches us about the " TRUE ENTITY OF ALL PHENOMENA ". I do believe your knowledge of Buddhism is not enough to say it or maybe nothing at all. Shakyamuni Buddha all want his life is to bring people to happiness and guide them to the Ultimate TRUTH to free poeple from the boudaries OF ignorance in Life and NOT what u said to mislead us or to confuse us.But rather he gave us way to closer to the Truth and to understand nature of Life even to the universe.I want to say to you science and Buddhism are not oppsosite way but rather Science gives way to Buddhist thought to its ideal.
