i believe that the principle or law that unites the cells and organs into living beings exist within life and within the body.If man were made to live by some outside force, his body would indeed no more than a machine and he himself a mere puppet. We must look to the body as the manifestation of life, for the life force is inherent in the body. It is this force, which among other things, harmonizes the body's part and enables man to absorb from without that which necessary to maintain life. This active positive li-force within the body is the fundamental essence of life and it is one with the life-force of the universe.
two physuiological phenomena offer striking support fot this idea. One is the ability of the hunam body to renew itself and under certain circumstances to heal itself. The other is the process of immunization.
The self-regenerative capacity of the body is by no means confined to man. On the contrary, it appears more dramatically in the lower forms of life.. If u cut off an ordinary lizard's tail, it will grow back, and the same thing can be observed in many other animals. Human's, of course, do not grew new limbs to replace sevral ones, but if no more than about a third of a human liver is excised, it will grow back. More importantm, if u cut yourself, new group of cells called granules from to heal the wound. The whole practice of surgery is dependent on this phenomenon.
