The culmination of mathematical physics, namely string theory, coupled with observations of dark matter and black holes, is in agreement with much of the cosmology found in the scripture of the ancients. But as yet no evidence for the singular god, which by the way the original Buddhists did not think exists. And also the cutting edge of physics requires as much faith in its truth for most of us as any other religion.
