I don't know if it is absurd, but I do agree nobody knows much about a divine being. It's as much of a guess as the extent of the universe is right now. I've been wondering what would happen if an extraterrestrial life did contact us and how would people relate them to earth's religions. Would we try and convert them and get them saved? Or would they disprove things like the Bible because I don't think the Bible at this moment puts aliens into perspective. I'm sure it will though, if aliens do happen to make themselves known. In the beginning, the Bible said the earth was flat. Now that it has been shown that it is spherical, people point out that the Bible has said this all along. Go fig.
