Science IS the religion of the materialist. As the human brain is looked upon as the "crown jewel of evolution", men make themselves gods. "Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering away [rapture], we ask you brothers, not to become easily unsettled of alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. DON`T LET ANYONE DECIEVE YOU IN ANY WAY, for that day will not come before the REBELLION occurs. [2nd Thess. 2:1-3] In this passage "rebellion" is from the Greek word "apostasia", from which is derived the English "apostasy" or falling away from truth. Yannaru, I presume you would maintain that there has not been an apostasy? Many here in this forum are former Christians, who [for what ever reason] have denied the God of their fathers. Ditto for the world in general. Yet, spiritualality in general, is flourishing. The world is ripe for the rise of the anti-christ.
