Well first off I don`t care who has more scientists Catholics or Protestants I am showing that the two terms are not contradictory in nature. Second one cannot never know God one can only try to form a relationship with him. But this is not a forum on religion if I have digressed in some of my responses I must apologize. And as for the possiblethe infinte = the neccesary. There are not an infinite amount of planets or lightning bolts according to science or else we could easily say that the earth is the center of the universe because it stretches into infinity in all directions around us. So the equation for life starting by a bolt of lightning hitting some protoplasmic goop only equals the possible not the neccesary. And if Drakes theorem is what you say it is then it is useless because it is easily possible for there to be highly intelligent life that doesn`t need water and isn`t carbon based.
