Did you follow the UN Millenial summit in NY last month? Part of it entailed a meeting of the religious leaders of the world. It was headed by Ted Turner [who disavowed his former belief in Christianity, to the applause of the other leaders], and Maurice Strong [New Age guru, billionaire] of Canada. Interestingly, there were no evangelical Christians or Muslims invited, probably scince they are labeled as "intolerant" in todays world-society. To me, this is an indication that the prophesy of one-world religion {Daniel, Revelation] is close to being fulfilled. Of course, it won`t be embraced by the world so-much as the world government. This scenario follows close on the heels of the commonly-held philosophy, that there is no absolute truth. Which, if true, makes all religions, or approaches to God, if you will, equivalent/meaningless. Not only is this intellectually satisfying to the majority of people, but would seem to establish a fundamental basis for extinguishing the religion-based wars that are taking place. Which is one of the goals of the UN. What do you think?
