: : : I saw a documentary the other day that showed how some types of wasps reproduce. A female wasp lays a hundred or so eggs and leaves them to hatch. When the first male is hatched, it then goes around and kills every one of it's brothers that hatches. It then has sex with each and every one of it's sisters as soon as they hatch.

: : : Did God create these insects? Did they choose somewhere in history to go down this 'immoral' path?

: : how did you come to the presupposition that morality : : applies to insects?

: : Morality and ethics that are derived from mankind : : cannot be applicable to animals or insects, for : : they are not created in the image of God. The do : : not have a conscience that holds them accountable : : for their actions.

: Ok thanks. I didn't know this view was held by : religion.

***I am sure that if insects reason, or any other life form on the earth, it is we who are seen as the immoral, unethical beasts who cause so much destruction for so little reason, sending many to extinction for needs such as (having chrome and paint on our vehicals, not even giving survival a second thought, it is assumed that this will be taken care of for us, we just work some and enjoy ourselves. Of course I am no better, but I try to break from this mode of thinking, bit by bit, will it make any difference? All this will change eventually out of necessity.
