How can mathmatics statistically show the probability of something that can`t be backed up by any form of science. We can find the probability of life on other planets by determining how many planets have the right balance of building blocks and the correct distance away from thier suns respectively. If you want to talk about the probable creation of the universe use Occams razor. Does it seem more likely that the creation of the universe came from matter seperating and cooling and forming elements. Or is more likely that it came from some all-powerfull all-knowing man in the sky that nobody has ever seen but has a plan for the way everything is supposed to be. Science would say that the man in the sky theory is absurd and should be discarded when trying to determine the basis of creation. The only reason it would be more reasonable to believe in a creator than in chance would be lack of education. The dogmatic point of view does NOT account for new science and new proof of the way things are. Before we had things like quantam physics, carbon dating, sophisticated observation tools and the scientific meathod it makes sense to attribute everything you can`t readily explain to an unseen creator. Now that we have higher levels of technology we can explain most of these things scientifically. Our Science comes from yesterday. The dogmatic point-of-view is 2000 years old. At that time a horse was the fastest form of travel and if you wanted to read after the sun went down you needed a candle. Christianity is a lie. A well intenioned lie but a lie none the less. If everybody was raised as a child of science instead of a children of Christ from this day forward, in 1 generation the idea of religion would be a laughable notion. So my point is if you weren`t told that christianity was an absolute truth from the time you were born, the idea would seem perposterous. The reason for that is; that it is perposterous. But because it is so widely believed in this country people just accept the ridiculous dogmatic point-of-view without question.
