"I have come to the concluesion that most people with any comon horse sence know with in them selves that this world just did not happen by chance." pgoble

If i`ve learned anything from the short time i`ve been alive, it is that few things can be accepted without question.

Common sense once told us the world was flat. It told us that the entire universe revolved around the earth.

I would think that the greatest thinkers are characterized by their ability to question those that were accepted unquestioningly. Newton`s achievements entirely revolutionized what seemed to be Aristotlian common sense at the time. Einstien did the same with his theory of relativity, by taking Newton`s view of the universe into question.

Many things may seem to us to be intuitively true, but i find it a horrible waste when things are accepted at the level of dogma (science included).
