: Looking back I can see another option or two, but I think they contradict current logic (not meaning they're necessarily wrong of course).

: ::1. The universe is created out of the blue.

: ::2. God is created out of the blue and he in turn creates the universe.

: ::3. Nothing gets created out of the blue. I.e. The 'family tree' of all objects goes on infinitely.

: : Perhaps we can have: : 4. God existed without the need to ever have been created and then went on to create the world.

: (and also when I talk about "objects" I don't necessarily mean for them to be discrete, they could be analogue entities, or more accurately probably _are_ analogue).

: They may be other possibilities I haven't said, but still, looking at number 4, the same logic of my arguments still apply.

: If god existed without the need to ever be created by anything, why is it not just as possible that our universe has existed without the need to be created. Why do we need this ill-defined god in the equation?

: LegendLength

Or, why does anything at all exist?

Wouldn't a state of nothingness by itself remain itself?

Therefor, the existence of something from nothing requires an extingent entity that is transcendent along the bounds of time.
