EVOLUTION
The fact that the universe harbours pervasive change. I can`t deny this fact: from the universe`s constant expansion to the various cycles that occur in the earth.

To our early ancestors, everything seemed overwhelmingly random. The only constant was the fact that everything changes. They tried to reach out for something concrete, something impervious to any change. I believe that this yearning for a universal constant IS God. It`s a comforting thought that a higher being remains taking care of us - constant in all the apparent chaos around us.

P.S. You`re one of the most productive thinkers i`ve ever met Phil. Nice to see there can be some positive direction in the myriad of beliefs out there ;)
