Perhaps God does not work in mysterious ways, but the point that I was trying to get at was, why not remove all doubt from the world by showing the non-believers that he really does exist. I can`t comprehend the fact that an omnipotent being who "loves" all of us and can do anything without any effort would not make this world a paradise. If the story about Adam and Eve with the tree is true, why is a merciful, forgiving God punishing all of us because Eve was deceived by a snake. Which brings me to another question, God knows all so he MUST have known that the snake would try to deceive Eve into eating the apple and he MUST have know that she would have submitted to her temptation. Also why did he put the temptation (the apple) there in the first place? Why not put it somewhere that Adam and Eve would have never gotten to? |
