Mr. Lake,

The way you put it, particles make waves, like the skier in powder snow.

Actually, the way physics puts it, and in particular quantum mechanics, waves make particles. The interaction you speak of, like sunlight on a pond, the interaction of different kinds of waves, like light and electron waves,is what causes the waves to collapse into particles.

So from the perspective of science you have it backwards. Should we consider, therefore, that the Ah is perhaps really the Ha.

Please excuse my twisted humor.
