The God of Israel is the one "true" God. People invent all sorts of Gods such as television, gambling, money, sports, etc. As far as God creating himself, you will have to ask someone much more brilliant than myself. But I am sure that if God wanted us to know where he came from or if he worships a higher God than himself, he would have told us in the Bible and he did not mention it. Perhaps it is something he considers too incomprehensible for even our wildest imaginings or perhaps that will be one of the surprises we find when we get to Heaven (sp?) when God will ask us to join him in worshipping his Supreme Creator. Did you ever think of that?
By the by, personally, I like to think of God as being neither and both sexes or even sometimes one and sometimes the other. God is one of those powers who can do exactly what he/she/it wants to do.
