Mr. Lake, I think you afraid of your own frailty and are mistakenly assuming that men invented God.
Men invented science and science appears to be good at the outset, however, for every advance men make, they take two steps backward. To think that God is man and man is God is absurd. Tell me which part of history did I miss. What great hero of old created the universe? And tell me, what great invention of man has not brought with it some dire consequence? Just look at the warnings on the prescription labels of medicines.
This one or that one will cure your cough, but it will also give you hives, high blood pressure, palpitations, nausea and vomiting, etc. Would not it be better to have let the cough work it`s way out on its own? No, I am not against modern medicine and yes, I do take medicine quite regularly, but I do not believe that our puny "miracles" of modern many can compare with the miracles of God. They don`t come with warning labels.
