It seems as though there might be some folks here that have an interest in relationships between Astronomy and Christianity.

To those here that do, I pose a few questions.

First,
I have read theories regarding our solar system’s place within the Milky Way.

Some of these theories estimate that we are approximately ¾ of the way out from the center of our galaxy.

For the sake of this discussion, let’s say that this is somewhat so.

Also, to help us visualize this, let’s say that we are viewing our galaxy by looking down at it from above.

Some theories claim that our galaxy is oval in shape.

Again for the sake of this discussion, let us say that this is also somewhat so.

To further our visualization of this, let us say that we are looking down at an oval that is horizontally elongated.

That is, this oval is longest in distance from left to right.

Now with this in mind, let us say that our Sun (Sol) is located on the Right Side of this oval (approximately ¾ of the way out from the center).

So, the first question is;
Where is the Seven Star Cluster, known as the Pleiades located within this oval?

Is it located to the Right of us (further outward from the center)?
Is it located to the Left of us (closer to the center)?
Or is it on the same relative plane with us (very close to the same distance from the center)?

The [WHY?] of this is related to two another theories that say that;
1. Our (spiral) galaxy is expanding outwards.
2. Distance from the center is related to evolution (the further from the center, the more evolved)

So again, for the sake of this discussion let us say that these theories are also true.

If this is so, and the Pleiades is further out from the center than we are then, according to these theories, beings from a planet or planets within this star cluster would be more evolved (advanced) than us.

The second question is;
Are the stories within the Holy Bible, regarding the witnessing of, the interactions with and the actions of Angels, in fact, true?

Wherein beliefs in this are so, then the third question would be;
Is the scripture, within the Holy Bible (such as in Revelations) regarding the “Seven Stars”, actually referring to the Pleiades?

For those that believe that this is so, the final question is;
Is Christianity a result of close encounters with extraterrestrials?
