after posting the above it ocurred to me that placing the blame on religion for strife and bloodshed is mistaken. i stated that the fact that various religions are at one anothers throats and that the followers and leaders of such in my experience put forth subtle messages tainted with pride and hate. i also bemoaned the fact that the reasonable dogma of the religions has not tempered the behavior of the practicioners for the better.
the thing i overlooked was that it is just possible if it were not for the dogma expoused and promulgated by religions that the strife and bloodshed might be far worse. possibly an arnarchy of strife and bloodshed if you will.
