Yes all we have to do is ask and we will be made perfect.

We are on earth to decide if we wish to be constrained with in the limits that God constrains Himself.

This is necessary to be free in the new perfect universe which is to come.

So the question is do we want to be like God in character or do we want to escape hell?

These are two very different questions.

If someone says they wish to wait until they die before they choose heaven, it would seem that they really do not wish the change in character and want to hold onto what they have as long as possible.
In this case they are not making a free will choice for perfection but are being forced with the treat of the fires of hell at the end of their lives.

God does not force us.

At the end of a persons life they are granted the desire they have made with their life.

If they have indicated they wish to remain the same as they are, that wish will be granted.
Of course constraints must be put in place to prevent the unchanged from contaminating a perfect universe.
These constraints are commonly referred to as hell.

If they have indicated they wish to be changed, then that wish will be granted.
In this case no constraints are required.

So now we must ask how many people really want a perfect character?
Many or few?

Duane
