Your Concept Of Eastern Religion Is Naive

Strange because your appreciation of Christian thinking is very sophisticated. But it appears that you characterize all eastern religions by Buddhism when actually it is only in Buddhism that claims of complete self help up the spiritual ladder are made.

And even in Tibetian Buddhism, in the Tibetian Book of the Dead, the Lord of Great Salvation is available for all to reach salvation after death. That book expressly claims that no human being is strong or perfected enough to achieve salvation by his or her own deeds or prayer. Tibetian Buddhism as expressed by that book is somewhat similar to Christianity.
