Christianity From First Principles

One unique feature about Christianity is that it can be developed from 'first principles', and those 'first principles' are pretty sound. This makes Christianity a logical choice in terms of a religion that is based on sound principles. Here are the principles that Christianity is based upon:

1) The universe and every component in the universe are an evolving organism

2) Evolutionary trends begin on a small scale and then rapidly evolve to encorporate large scale features

3) Evolution is based on a logical progression (Logic/Action) that are based on laws that are true

4) Truth is a non-materialist concept that requires Mind to exist

5) Mind (Truth) and Logic (Action) exist as non-materialist entities in the world

6) Mind (Truth) is equivalent to the Greek word for "Theos" or "God" or "Father"

7) Logic (Action) is equivalent to the Greek word for "Logos" or "Word" or "Son"

8 ) The Logos is God's agent in the world bringing the actions of God to fruition

9) The Logos is not separate from creation, it actively becomes part of creation by a "snowball" effect where the instruments of the Logos take on more and more characteristics of the Logos until those instruments become identifiable with key characteristics of the Logos.

10) As humanity evolved, humans took on more and more attributes of the Logos, until the Logos started to become identified with particular human beings (called 'prophets') who were servants of God.

11) At some point in history the Logos took full human form and became completely identifiable as a particular human being.

12) This Logos-man became the model for all of humanity, and is therefore "God in flesh" and is to be worshipped as the Son of God (i.e., direct deriviation of God that co-exists with God and is God).

13) The religion that has a model of the Logos-man is Christianity, and this model for humanity is the man, Jesus.

14) The Logos has been identified as this man, Jesus, but the Logos is not finished with his work, Jesus will come again in a large scale fashion to create a "Cambrian explosion" type evolution which will save humanity from a future destruction and save humanity in every way that one can be saved.
