Natural selection within the human species is still happening. Natural selection or survival of the fittest, for the human species, means in this day and age that the most technologically advanced armies will defeat less advanced armies. In short, natural selection is a war, a war to capture and consume natural resources before some other members of the species do.

Jesus taught the ways of peace to western society, a clear break from judiaism- to turn the other cheek and to forgive. That is the way, along with diplomacy and democracy and tolerance, to end war and achieve the spiritual state of world peace.
