Imagine if Einstein or others lived 800 years what may have been accomplished.

Even from a evoloution standpoint the intelegence of mankind has not changed in the past few thousand years, maybe a hundredthousand years, if you believe that we were here that long, so what is to have prevented mankind from becoming technologically advanced, dominating the planet and destroying themselves several times over?
