Evolution is just another word for transformation, and Christians believe that God does indeed use the transformation process by which to create.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will." Rom. 12:2

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect[ 3:18 Or contemplate] the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever­increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." II Cor.3:18
