Richard,

My view is that God's word is mathematical statements (among numerous other kinds of statements), and the worlds that exist are based on God's word being 'spoken' to cause them to exist.

I don't see God as just mathematical order. God is moral order, God is judicial order, and God is a loving order. However, this world requires patience for the higher order of God to exemplify itself in the world. For now, we are living in a world where 'lower orders' (e.g., natural selection) are primary, and therefore we have to be patient while these natural evils play themselves out.
