There are aspects of evolution which are dependant upon sensory organs in order to develop. The fragrance and color patterns of flowers for example, promote the proliferation of these species by attracting other species to aid in their pollenation. Yet what is there in evolution that invited the genetic make-up of these flowers to be aware that there would be other species with the sensory organs to perceive their fragrance and color patterns? Likewise, what is there in evolution that invites the genetic make-up of species possessing sensory organs that there will be anything to perceive using those organs? Which came first, the perception sensed, or the sensory organ with which to sense it? How did evolution first bring these two thoughts together? |
