If God Is Perfect And Complete, Why Does He Need A Wife?

Isn't that needless anthropormorphization?

God does not need to sexually reproduce, since He can apparently bear offspring immaculately. I doubt that he feels lonely, since the implication of loneliness is that God is somehow lacking and not whole. Why should God have any needs whatsoever? A need or a want implies that He is somehow less perfect until that need or want is attained.

How can the nation of Israel be collectively considered to be God's wife? I thought the Israelites were God's children?
