I have missed you and am happy to learn you are well and happy. I found your old address to be no longer in service and thought that I had lost you... until a reminder of the astronomy net came to my email and I found you here.
God and Science, this stuff is deep. I had an OBE once, practicing meditation. Who knows if we are truly OBE or simply floating in our own minds? Your knowledge of the major religions is impressive.
I went from Episcopal to adolescent atheism to born againedness, to delusion, to agnosticism, to reading Siddhartha... and studying the great truths you so eloquently detailed, to pantheism, to nearly atheism and to agnosticism again. There is nothing wrong with not knowing.
Along the way I too have been impressed with the teachings of Taoism and the yin and the yang. It seems not much more than a formalized, educated atheism. But wow this yin and yang... from where and whence did such enlightenment come? And reducing matter and energy to nothing more than electrons and positrons and the complentarity of energy and antienergy or gravity. It is truly fantastic!
