You mention works of God, if one must insist on using that term for all that exists, it still means just the existance of the universe, not any directed, planned or controlled system. The good and bad is meaningless without our own perception and judgement upon relationships/actions/events. And it is biased by our selfcenteredness, hypocricy is a natural human trait, it is fine to put a man to death for killing a class of children, but if it was you son who did it, what then?
