The Bible is full of the mistakes. Other religions mostly never admit theirs. And many
folks seem unaware that the Bible they love is
not infallible. Others seem unaware that the
yoga or buddhism or Tao or science they love is
also not infallible.

Is worldly success the proof of which (of many) systems of life is best? That seems very wrong. By that system, we would endorse whichever system of life is currently in
power, whether brutish and cruel or honest and kind. The point of thinking is to have a way of considering reality which is separate from the raw physical fact of who and what is currently controlling us.
Whoever proposes that worldly success is a good guide to what system of life we ought to adopt
must also propose a definition of success.
