Not wishing to be combative, but there is no way to answer your statement without denying it...
precisely because you so strongly implied "rigor."
Not even one of your statements to (the other) Michael just now was anything but overgeneralization. If I trust you could prove it specifically, I would have to believe that you meant that you could prove different statements than you just made!
Furthermore, time travel is not only possible
but certainly affects our time and the future without creating any unresolvable paradoxes --
at least this is true in time travel as defined at www.geocities.com/earthinspace2002/gowhence.htm
