Because of my interest in the paranormal, I have read many reviews of the paranormal that label it as nonsense. Scientific American has a whole column devoted to that topic. The Sceptical Enquirer does the same with each issue.

Recently I found a site that cites two specific examples of the establishmnet of science, not the government, censoring scientific research: one about the paranormal and one about cold fusion.

The magazine NATURE, the most prestigious journal of all in science, contained a critical review of The Conscious Universe by Radin which presents evidence for the paranormal. The review was found to be incorrect, and told so by the author and a Nobelist, but NATURE refused to print the correction. You can read all about this at:

The subject of cold fusion has similarly been surpressed by the establishment to the extent that even if someone gets a cold fusion psper into the Cornell Archives, it is deleted by its moderators. You can read about this at:

So it naive for anyone to suppose that censorship can only come from the government.
